Our matteboard is only 100% cotton rag and acid free. It comes in 4ply or 8ply thicknesses and comes in a variety of colors but we typically only stock white, other colors may extend turnaround time.
Spacers keep the print from touching the glass or plexiglass and come either wood or acrylic. Both are .25 inch high. Acrylic spacers come in black or clear. Wood spacers are painted or stained to match the frame.
Strainers not available for metal frames
We use only use double strength true view glass or 1/8 inch framing grade acrylic.
Backing board goes behind the print and in between it and the strainer or springs. We have different thicknesses depending on how much room is available. Typically 1/8" is used with spacers and 1/4" is used for matted prints.
